A CITY-WIDE DAY OF DINING OUT TO HELP LA RESTAURANTS AFFECTED BY THE FIRES

Across Los Angeles, even in areas outside of fire zones, restaurants are reporting unprecedented declines in business as ongoing fires have discouraged many Angelenos from dining out. As a result, independent restaurant owners are at a breaking point, and tens of thousands of cooks, servers and other food industry workers are at risk of losing their incomes. So, on Wednesday, January 29, we’re asking everyone in LA to go out for at least one meal, take a photo of your food and post it on social media with #TheGreatLosAngelesDineOut. For every post using the hashtag, one of our sponsors will donate $5 (up to $100,000) to Restaurants Care, a charity supporting restaurant workers affected by the fires. Can’t make it out? You can still support the restaurants you love by placing a takeout order and using the hashtag to earn a donation from our sponsors.
