A NATIONWIDE MOVEMENT TO HELP SAVE AMERICA’S RESTAURANTS

The Great American Takeout was launched in 2020 to help drive takeout and delivery sales for restaurants that were forced to close their dining rooms due to COVID-19. Since then, more than 10,000 restaurants and millions of Americans have participated in our virtual events. Along the way we’ve raised $905,000 for restaurant industry charities like the Restaurant Employee Relief Fund (RERF), No Kid Hungry and Children of Restaurant Employees (CORE), as well as Black Lives Matter. While we’re proud to have made an impact, we know there is still so much work to be done. So while we’re working on our next event, we invite restaurant operators to click the “Download Assets” button above, access The Great American Takeout logo, and use it to promote your own weekly events. And we encourage everyone to keep supporting the restaurants you love by ordering takeout and delivery as often as you can.
